Dial Baby Body and Hair Wash and Dial Kids Foaming Hand Wash Review and GIVEAWAY

With three (dirty) boys, we go through a lot of soap in our house.  Whether it is soap for washing hands, or soap in the bathtub, these boys require a lot of washing on a daily basis.

So, I was so excited when Purex picked me to test Dial Baby Body and Hair Wash AND Dial Kids Foaming Hand Wash.

I was sent the Fragrance Free gentle formula of the Dial Baby Body and Hair wash.  This formula is perfect for your infant/toddler ages 0-2 (although my 5 year old wanted to try it too).

Dial® For Kids

Developed with Pediatric Dermatologists, this tear-free formula is pH balanced and hypoallergenic, with no parabens or artificial dyes, for babies’ perfect skin. Gently removes environmental dirt for a head to toe clean!

As you can see, Ben was excited to try the body and hair wash.  So, we plunked him in the tub (his favorite place to be lately) and went to town!

I loved that it is a tear-free formula, hypo-allergenic, with no added parabens or artificial dyes.  Ben loved that he could have a bubble head.

When Sam heard all the fun we were having in the bathtub, he jumped right in and insisted I give him 'bubble hair' too.  Gotta love these boys!

Dial® Kids Watery Melon Foaming Hand Wash
As for the foaming hand wash, the boys were literally FOAMING at the mouth when they saw it in the package and couldn't wait for me to put it in their bathroom for them to try.  The watermelon scent was a huge hit, and I loved that it tackled dirty hands the first time around so there wasn't a lot of repeat hand-washing happening!

The hand wash is also hypoallergenic, with no artificial dyes, no parabens, pH balanced and gentle on kids’ skin!

Want to try either of these products?  ONE of my lucky readers will win a coupon for a Free Dial Baby Body and Hair wash OR a Free Dial Kids Foaming Hand Wash (your choice).  Just enter the rafflecopter below!  Good luck!

Dial Miracle Oil Hand Soap Review and GIVEAWAY

I just want to start off by saying WELCOME, if you've found your way over to McMomma Reviews by way of my family blog, Livin the McLife.  I thought it would be better to seperate my product reviews and giveaways from the family stuff...of course, some of the family stuff will find it's way over here (since we are testing these products as a FAMILY), so don't worry you can still get a fix of my adorable little boys :)

For those of you that are new to my McLife entirely, let me introduce you to those 3 little monsters:  Max, Sam and Ben (in picture below order from L to R is Ben, Max, Sam).  These three little guys are the lights of my life -- and the reason that my house is a pig sty....but I digress....

They look pretty cute and harmless, right?  Well....let me just tell you something.  They are BOYS.  Messy, dirty, stinky, dirty, messy, crazy BOYS.  My house is in a constant state of disarray.  It definitely keeps me on my toes, but let me tell you, my hands take a beating!

And THEIR hands (and faces) are constantly messy too.

So, when Purex sent me another product, the Dial Miracle Oil soap to try (see my review of the Dial Sugar Cane Husk soap here), I was ecstatic!  I had already declared the Dial Sugar Cane Husk soap to be for ME ONLY, so I decided that this one could go in the downstairs bathroom for others to use too :)

Dial Miracle Oil Hand Soap is infused with Marula Oil.  Wikipedia informed me that "Marula oil is extracted from the kernels (nuts) of the Marula tree.  The Tsonga people of South Africa and Mozambique have used the oil as a moisturising body lotion for women and also as a massage oil for babies. In the past, women used Marula oil rather than water to clean themselves."

New Dial Miracle Oil Hand Soap promises to bring nourishment and skin hydration to your hand washing experience.  The Miracle Oil gently removes dirt from your hands and leaves them feeling smooth and refreshed.  Dial Miracle Oil hand soap uses Micro Oil technology to nourish and deeply hydrate your skin while protecting it from skin damaging free radicals.

I decided to give the Dial Miracle Oil Hand Soap a try...

The aroma of the soap at first pump was intriguing.

It lathered up easily and quickly, and I could feel the oils starting to moisturize my hands almost immediately.  I really enjoyed the aroma as I was lathering up my hands....it was soothing and calming.  Almost spa like!

Afterwards, my hands felt soft and supple and thoroughly moisturized.  It's hard to say which of the two Dial soaps I prefer....but I can say they both did a great job not only cleaning my hands, but moisturizing them as well!

It's clear that my boys agree -- this bottle was full at the beginning of the morning!!  I think they enjoyed the fragrance and the experience too!

Want to try it for yourself?  One lucky reader will win a coupon for a FREE bottle of Dial Hand Soap!  Just comment below with what mess on your hands is the hardest for your handsoap to tackle for a chance to win!  Giveaway ends on 4/17/15

Purex Crystals in-wash fragrance booster -- and GIVEAWAY!

I already love Purex crystals - I love to mix them in with my homemade laundry detergent to add a little fragrance to over-power all the 'boy' scents going on in this male-dominated household.  So, when I  got selected to test out Purex Crystals in-wash fragrance booster I was jumping up and down!

The New Purex Crystals ScentSplash in-wash fragrance booster is a LIQUID version of the crystals.  It infuses your clothing with the power of liquid freshness.  You can add as much, or as little to the wash as you would like with the handy measuring cap that comes with it.

The product comes in three new scents:  Fresh Spring Waters, Fresh Lavender Blossom and Fresh Mountain Breeze.  I was given Fresh Spring Waters to test out.

I share my house with 4 stinky boys, so having some type of fragrance in our laundry is a must.  I like that I am able to add as much or as little as I need with this bottle.

I have to admit I was skeptical that it could eliminate some of the nastiest odors in our house, so I put it to the test.

The worst culprit of all is our work-out clothes.  Both my husband and I are runners and we log somewhere close to 100 miles/month.  Our running clothes STINK!  Especially my dear hubby's clothes when they sit in his running bag all day long when he runs during his lunch break at work.  So, I was skeptical that Purex Crystals Scent Splash could actually do the trick and mask those odors.  But, it DID!  And the BEST part was that the scent persisted well into my  next workout and gave me whiffs of pleasant aromas as I pounded out 8 miles on the pavement.  Now THAT is the best reward in the world -- motivation to keep you going for sure!  Especially if you are an aromatic person like me -- I tend to associate certain aromas with certain situations (positive or negative).  Nice pleasant aromas always put me in a good mood and help to motivate me to do better.  I appreciate getting a whiff of this fragrance well into my run when I wanted to be done -- it helped me keep moving and finish what I started!

Now, I'm not saying that Purex Crystals Scent Splash will help you finish that workout, or even go that extra mile -- but it certainly can't hurt to not have to worry about how you smell at the gym!!  :)

Since using Purex Crystals Scent Splash, my kids have commented on how fresh their sheets smell, my overnight guests have asked me what laundry detergent I use because they felt like they were going to sleep in a spa, and I have smelt the luxurious fragrance pulling towels out of the closet WEEKS after they have been washed, but smelling as fresh as if they just came out of the dryer.   SO, I think it is safe to say that I will be adding this product to my laundry arsenal.

Dial sugar cane husk hand soap - and GIVEAWAY!

So, I have to admit that I love to buy scented hand soaps.  And, I usually buy them on sale at Bath and Body Works and stock up on them for the whole year.  But, when Purex Insiders asked me to test out a new product from Dial, I was all over it!  Especially since I happened to be all out of handsoap at the time!  WOOT WOOT!

NEW Dial® Sugar Cane Husk Scrub Hand Soap is the newest member of the Dial® Boutique Collection Hand Soap line, bringing luxury to your hand washing experience. With an indulgent scent inspired by freshly cut Sugar Cane, this premium formula with gentle micro scrubbers cleanses deeply while moisturizing and smoothing skin.

Dial's NEW boutique collection has an array of vibrant scents to choose from: yellow raspberry and black sugar, water blossoms, coconut lime verbena, and sugar cane husk. I was kindly sent a sample of the sugar cane husk scrub hand soap.

First, off, the soap straight up smells AMAZING -- like I just stepped out of a spa amazing.  And,  as a stay-at-home mom with 3 boys, I wash my hands A LOT.  And I hate having to apply lotion all the time, immediately after washing my hands because the soap dries out my skin.  With this soap from Dial, my hands felt so smooth and soft and I honestly didn't even NEED the lotion!  It was like a miracle in the bottle!

Secondly, the scrub works miracles.   The gentle micro-scrubbers removed all the dirt with hardly any effort!  And we are talking nasty culprits like: finger paint, coffee grounds, pasta sauce, etc that get on my hands on a daily basis.

I honestly think I am going to hide this soap so only I can use it, it is that amazing!  I guess I'll share it with my husband...MAYBE.
